Cobra Valuation?

There is a Cobra currently advertised for auction by Coys in the PH classifieds (AC pre '69 section). I would post a link but it appears to be against the rules.
The car is advertised as a 1964 289 by Autocraft. Further reading reveals that it was made in the 1980's and given the chassis number of an original 1964 Cobra 289 believed to have been written off.
Further investigation reveals that the Autocraft car was given Chassis number COB6042 and that rather surprisingly the original 1964 COB6042 is alive and well and regularly attending events in the USA.
What I find hard to understand is how Coys have arrived at a sales estimate of between £185,000 and £195,000 given that other Autokraft Cobras sell for around half of this estimate.
If the inflated figure is due to the car carrying an authentic 1964 AC chassis number even although it is not claiming to be that car, then this would be a rather undesirable precedent for an auction house to set. Especially because the original car carrying that chassis number is still very much in existence.

There was a Bogus Porsche Turbo for sale there some time back. The thread is somewhere on PH.
I wrote and told them that the car was orignally LHD and had been written-off in mainland Europe (can't remember where exactly) and then the remains brought here and (badly) rebuilt. I said that they should include this information in the Auction description.
They wrote back and told me it was irrelevant information !

1) Didn't own.
2) Didn't physically have the car to show
3) The owner was rather surprised too!
