There's a newish place on Northfield Avenue in Ealing - Cheddar Deli. I haven't been there, so I can't comment. If you end up near Marylebone Station though, go to La Fromagerie in Moxon Street (off Marylebone High St).
I too have not been to the new Northfield Avenue shop myself but i was invited to a boxing day lunch. The host had gone a bit mad and bought half the shop. The cheese board he brought out was truly scrumy with a great selection of cheeses! some very fine cheeses infact. Not cheap ive been told. The One on Marylebone high street is also highly recommended.

We used to work round the corner and it was our major lunch supplier!
