Preferably something drivable rather than central but can anyone point me to a decent cheesery? Need to do a cheesee board run on Saturday morning and want to get something fun.

There's a decent one in Marylebone Station just past M&S

Small but lots of choice

There's a newish place on Northfield Avenue in Ealing - Cheddar Deli. I haven't been there, so I can't comment. If you end up near Marylebone Station though, go to La Fromagerie in Moxon Street (off Marylebone High St).

I too have not been to the new Northfield Avenue shop myself but i was invited to a boxing day lunch. The host had gone a bit mad and bought half the shop. The cheese board he brought out was truly scrumy with a great selection of cheeses! some very fine cheeses infact. Not cheap ive been told.

The One on Marylebone high street is also highly recommended.

I know its not your preferred location, but the cheese shop in Borough Market is great.

We attacked cheddar deli this morning; will report back tomorrow!

Friendly bunch and happy to let us have a nibble of whatever we fancied.

This is what they call a "feeder line" isn't it.

2nd that. Great selection and relatively cheap.

We used to work round the corner and it was our major lunch supplier!
