Insurance (Again)
Discussion
Ok, I know it's been done to death, but my renewal is coming up again. Any money I can save here means more for oily stuff.
Does anyone have suggestions on companies that include full track day cover (i.e. not only TVRCC events). So far I've only found Sunninghill & Liverpool Victoria.
Last year was with ClassicLine @ 425, but that's now gone up 50 quid and they don't cover non TVRCC track days.
Sunninghill want 499, but what annoys me is someone else posted that they paid 315. I'm perfect risk, (39 years young) leafy suburb post code, etc etc. Why don't they offer me that low?
Any suggestions of other companies?

Just renewed my insurance.
I was with Cheam (Hill House Hammond took them over)but NU, who must have ought out HHH have closed them down.
Nice people that they are though, they offered me new insurance with NU direct at 50% more than I was paying last year !
After a quick ring round, Sunningdale offered me cover from Chaucer at £100 less than last year and including track day cover.

Due for renewal and got all optomistic after reading this thread. Currently paying about £1700. Tried Sunninghill, the best they could do was £4500, apparently there insurer is reluctant to insure ungaraged cars. I'm 28, full no claims, 6 points, with a 4l Chim in a secure gated car park. Sunninghill were pretty quick on the phone and reccomended Tesco, and Liverpool Victoria as good for London drivers. Tesco came in over 2k and LV wouldn't quote. I'll be sticking to Elephant !
