Sounds good! I love pastrami. Maybe some onion as well, for a bit of 'crunch' biggrin

The best sandwiches have either bacon or pulled pork in them. That's just a garnish between some french bread!

Ruben on rye is also acceptable.

Best sandwich for me. Bacon, rocket, tomato and parmesan in toasted bread with basil and mayo.

A big pile of pastrami topped with grated cheese. Place in microwave for 30 secs until cheese has melted then scrape onto crusty bread with lashings of mustard and enjoy nom nom

There is only one best sandwich ever, and it is the Shooter's Sandwich.

Hi all,

Pretty new here, but sandwiches are something I can talk about! That one looks rather nice. My favourite is from the deli across from my Yankee inlaws house - lots of thin sliced turkey, ham, roast beef, swiss and american cheese (1/2 inche layers of each), with mayo, mustard and lettuce on a big soft white roll. Unremarkably they call it 'the American'. And I want one right now, shame it's 3000 miles away.

see, you take that bit with the leaves out and that's a decent meal there.

sounds a bit like my subway favourite.
