just thought of this based on the "how do you drive borrowed cars" thread.

i can think of only one, maybe two at an absolute push people who i'd trust with my car out of my sight, one of whom is my brother. so, garages excepted (even tho i usually hang around and wait wherever possible for work to be done as well!), who/how many people would you trust to take your car away?

The PHers I'm friendly with. I wouldn't trust my cars (or bike) to my family.

Quite a few of my friends have borrowed the Lotus over the years, most of them without comprehensive insurance. I'm perhaps more trusting than I should be, but it hasn't bitten me yet. hehe

Obviously the wife and I drive each other's cars quite a lot.

Just family I'd say.

My mum who is a school teacher used to take my Integra Type R to work, the kids used to think that she was well cool biggrin

I don't trust myself with other people's cars, and very very rarely drive any other car but mine or the works car.

It all stems back to when I helped a friend build a Mk1 Escort over months, fit forest arches and have it painted etc. then I proceeded to drive it a little too quickly and write it off. You can see now cant you?!

Clio = out of sight quite a few, its only a Clio after all !

Peugeot 308 = Only colleagues as its a company car

Elise = Not many ! If I'm in the car with them fair enough but on their own probably 2-3 people !

My brother, my cousin and of course my father and mother.

My father taught me how to drive and how to drive properly and I trust him with any of my toys. He has driven anything from vans to Miuras so I know he is okay.

My brother has driven anything and everyting so not a problem there.

My Mother is a very good driver and not a risk.

My cousin is much like me so again not a problem.

As long as they have a licence and at least DOC cover, I'll chuck 'em the keys.

Family and a few friends - my family I'm happy with but I'd be a little nervous with even my best-willed friends
