What colour is my C36?
Discussion
I've never seen a yellow one before ! Mercedes offered a pastel yellow for the early 202 models , but it didn't last long . The trim is standard C36 / sport trim designed to reflect the 1950's SL racers and gullwings . Most cars had leather though .
Pretty much all of the remaining (less than 180 in the UK left ) are silver or black , a few are metallic green and I've got an Imperial red one

It looks to me like Yellowstone, code 685.
I can find no reference to any paint colour with the code number 239. Interestingly, that code is for helios nappa leather. Nor can I find any calcite yellow under code 243. Colours with codes 2xx seem to be green.
It is a great looking car. The plaid cloth is so much more fun than boring leather. And the yellow paint, well, it's yellow.
