Power output of a 1100 x-flow engine?

Hi all, just bought a boat with one of these in. I wonder what the power is, incase I decide to replace it with a wee diesel?

If it's the 1100 Kent X-flow, about 52bhp IIRC

My old mk2 Escort had one originally and I seem to remember it was a straight 40hp.

My first car was a mk2 escort 1.1 pop, 45 bhp I think they had, but more in the fiesta of the same age.

45 bhp teaches you a lot about how to over take safely!
