As I've got the suspension apart anyway, while it's in bits I'm going to treat it to some new front discs.
It is fitted with 291mm disks at the moment, as the calipers are AP and radially mounted, is it possible to just make slightly thicker spacers to bolt to the uprights? or is there some reason I can't do this such as different disc offset?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can find out the maximum disk size by searching for what calipers you have then you can make the spacers to suit.

How do I identify which calipers I have?

Do all the disks have the same offset?

I was told this week on here some where you can fit the 320mm discs by adding a spacer that can be bought from the like's of TVR power or racing green

They are 5200 series, near side says 5200 103 and offside says 5200 104, I can't seem to cross reference them on the drawing.
Any ideas?

Check the inner radius of your calipers if you have the 5200s. There were 2 sizes used by TVR on 4.2 Cerberas and early Tuscans, one takes a max 304 disc and the other max 330. My early Tuscan had the larger calipers running on 291 discs so I was able to just make some 16mm spacers to work with 322 discs.

Well I made some 322mm cardboard disks up and put them in the caliper,
looks like I'm going to have to get the 304mm discs, frown

I have some brand new cp6600 that I might be willing to part with if interested? Then you can use the full size disk.

This thread may help,

By the way the difference from the original set up was night and day, so much better.

If you have 4 bolts on your caliper then 304, if 6 bolt then 330mm, simples!

What 4 or 6 bolt to you mean. The ones on the face of the caliper if you looked at them through the wheel?

Clamping the two halves together.

Here is the top 3 bolts, if you have a 4 bolt then you would only see two..

I've also been told that the 4 bolt caliper can take the 330x30 if using an 8mm spacer I'm sure someone on here has done that?

Nope, the radius of the caliper is not big enough to take much more than 304. I've tried with the spacer, with Brummmies new 330 discs, with my old 4 bolt caliper, they just don't fit. Upgrade to a 6 bolt caliper, and if you are shrewd, can be done for less than 50 after selling the old ones wink

Thanks for the definitive confirmation (Someone who has physically tried).

Well I may look for the 6 bolt otherwise I'll just hang tough unless I get a Willwood or Reyland urge.
