anyone on here have any experience of a good broker/insurance co who might cover a variety of vehicles and conditions for one named driver under one blanket policy?
ie
daily driver road car (4x4) at 10k miles pa. now't special req'd coverwise just a standard road policy.
track car - insured value of £45k, no road use, covered against fire/theft/damage while being trailered etc at events and at home, plus cover for trailer itself. not specifically covered for damage on track, only if damaged/stolen etc while being transported to/from trackdays and overnight.
classic car- say 3k miles pa classic bmw with agreed value say £15k
Motorhome- less than 5k miles pa, road use, market value £25k

sourcing all these policies annually plus home insurance etc is getting a right pain in the butt.
current insurers on track car are better value that competion car insurance but do not cover any other road use vehicles etc.
motorhome policy with specialist who does not cover road cars etc

is there such a thing as a cover all that could include the specifics of what i need?

If its purely for ease of renewal etc then its worth it.

Monetary value, No. Pain in the arse yes, But finding them individually, In my experience, is cheaper than an 'all in one' policy.

I don't believe Admiral will insure the track day car or motorhome or classic cars. Try www.primoplc.com who can insure pretty much anything under their multivehicle policy.

I went to Admiral 2x years ago to insure 3x everyday cars plus my Ferrari 456. Overall the deal worked out slightly better than 4x individual policy's.

At renewal last year the premium went up quite a bit but they reduced it just enough for me to renew it when i complained about the premium.

This year they wanted to double it to £3k! so i shopped around.

The best deal i found was Lockton's who are 1/2 what Admiral wanted and it includes track cover for the Ferrari.

We went with Admiral a couple of years ago, primarily for convenience although the quote was as good as the best separate quotes (2x family cars, 2x drivers). They tried to bump up the premium considerably this year despite the best separate premiums being about £100 cheaper and I asked them to explain how this kind of policy was meant to benefit me. They flapped about, trying to weasel around their "10% cheaper" claim and eventually magic'ed £100 off the policy.

If they try this tactic again I'm off!

In effect you still have to arrange for separate insurance for both cars with Admiral anyway, it's really just a shared premium payment and single account number.
