Pretty poor weather conditions out there today and I was taking it pretty easy but the temptation to get past a few plebs on the A303 was almost my undoing. Pulled out and made sure I was in straight and level flight before giving it ANY right foot. Flicked it down a few cogs (maybe one too many as it turned out) and gave it about half throttle, queue the back end getting all squirrely and plenty of flashing Orange lights, the ease with which it span up the rears at (ahem)70mph was pretty scary. Lesson learned.

Take it easy out there peeps.

So can I, otherwise my post would have been how I ended up in a ditch. It was just meant as a reminder that sometimes modern electronics can mask what is really happening and lead you into a false sense of security. But then being an Airbus pilot you probably know all about that.

I thought this post was about how you needed "modern electrickery" to save you from ending in a ditch?

So if you were in a a car without "modern electrickery," would you be in a ditch right now?

How is that you being able to drive? confused

Come on now, lets not get into comparing a 1 tonne car to a 500 tonne Airbus.. rofl

Well I have managed for 20 odd years so far, it was just meant as a reminder that sometimes modern cars lead you into a false sense of security.

Judging by the responses so far maybe I should just go and fk myself.
