All good low mileage cars which have had shed loads of TLC and cash lavished on them smile

Of course, you could pay a lot less and do the work yourself ?

They have certainly appreciated over the past few years, but yes, they do look a bit optimistically priced.

A good manual C2 is worth 20k IMO. Mileage is virtually irrelevant. Condition is everything.

Slightly inflated.
But fair play to the sellers for trying.

A lot of the Classic Porsches have increased in value, but buying a good one is the best way to avoid nasty surprises.

Condition is everything, it's taken 20 years to prove that the early oil leaks were easily resolved smile , and they are now a very useable modern classic car that have the charm of looking like a much older classic car smile

Yep, They used to be the paria or the very least desired 911, how times change. I'd love one now.

All overpriced.

Only the manual coupes (and in some peoples eyes including mine, the two wheel drives) are particularly rare and worth a premium.

A rough 964 is worth £10k-£12k, a good one £12k-16k and a minter upto £20k.

North of £20k is madness and almost into Turbo money.

As always, condition and recent expenditure are the all important points to look at.

Mileage does not matter to me until it gets silly like 175,000+ but it will matter to a lot of people.

I love this one but am miles away and busy for the next 2 weekends. May ring if it doesn't sell by the time I can view it.

If the body is in good condition rust free and the enfine is dry that's half the battle.

In a few years good 996 C2 will probably firm up wink

All agreed. 20+ k for a standard 964 is smoking drugs frankly. I can find a 964 with fresh suspension and a top and bottom rebuild for under 17k

993 is the last aircooled 911 but the suspension changes , size etc made it handle very differently indeed from a true 911 . The look was also too far away .
I love the 993 but the 64 is Kool and the Gang wink

Very true. Five years ago I fancied getting my first air cooled and initially wanted a 993 and then realized that 964s were half the price so decided to go for one of those instead. Looking back, I now realize what a stroke of luck that turned out to be. Not because it's probably worth far more than what I bought it for but because it's such a wonderful car to drive. When you get it right on a track, they ooze feedback and positively dance to your inputs. smile

Thought the 3.2/930 range was the last true 911?
