My 968 CS doesn'thave the adjustable tops on the shocks. Does this mean the rest of it isn't MO30 spec. If not what will it be? It feels dramatically differnt stiffer than my 944 turbo which had the M474 shocks but the thin ARB I think

cheers

Depends if they are the original shocks. If yes then your car doesn't have M030.

If it's the original units it's the usual Fichtel&Sachs units (painted black).

Check the option sticker inside the boot. If it says M030 then you have an M030 car. If not then you don't.

I don't know what age/mileage they both are but I'm guessing your 944 suspension was considerably older (more worn) than the 968 which could also explain the different feeling of stiffness - ooer

Thw turbo had had raplacement yellow konis, so both probably about the same age. I ran the two cars together for a couple of months. The turbo was much softer - all I can think is that its the anti-roll bar and perhsp springs - I belive the early ones were not that heavy duty

Hav to admit I miss the turbo;s power - the CS feels better going into corners lacks any serious grunt. As for being a lightweight its just not!
