Saw this online - is it true? My wife keeps her car fairly clean (because I clean it).

Rather amusing. Probably has an element of truth to it.

The other half drives me bloody crazy with the mess she leaves in our car. Empty coke bottles in all the cuopholders, sweet wrappers in the door pockets etc. It's always me who has to clear it all up and put it in a bin somewhere.

Would hate to think what it would look like if I never cleaned up after her.

Go visit a female student's room in there Uni house and tell me if it looks like the one in the picture.

The bit about cars is true though. It drives me crazy getting into our car after she has had it for a week.

Yes it is true. I spent an hour cleaning the interior of the car and making the things in the boot look tidy.

I can barely get into my bedroom anymore.

If all women's opinions are similar to those of my wife, "car cleaning and maintenance is mans work"

Then I can see a lot of messy ladies cars!

Yes I have seen some women's cars filled with crap, but the worst offender I know for this was a bloke. Rubbish crammed behind the front seats that blocked the rear passenger footwells completely, rubbish in the front passenger footwell that rose level with the seat etc, all fag packets and Mcdonalds boxes. He also used to smoke in that car with the window closed. Urgh.

Women are far from stupid: my wife and daughter both know that I can't stand rubbish, crumbs, bottles of water, even dust in a car. So when I get "pleeeeeez, will you go and fill my car up with petrol for me" they know they'll get a tank of fuel AND that I'll have to clean their cars before I can drive them.

Jeez, I'm a mug.

That said, house is always clean and the garden's kept tidy so maybe it's a fair trade off.

Hang on, we've a cleaner and a gardener. What do those women actually do?

I've just asked them: apparently they are cute and sweet and make my world a better place. Fair enough.
