Wet Mondeo

Wonder if anyone can help ? have a y plate Mondeo for the other half and was fine last winter,the other month she mentioned it keeps misting up but I havent had a chance to look into it till the other day when I got to use it and happened to have some stuff in the back and noticed the rear carpet behind the driver is soaking wet. So wet in fact that if you press down on it you will get a puddle form ! car is a saloon not a hatchback which hasnt got a sunroof but cant see where this much water is getting into the car,any ideas anyone ???

Through the rear door is my bet. There is an inner skin behind the door card - probably needs sealing.

Worth lifting the rear seat (folding down) to check its not wet there.

The misting up might be due to a clogged cabin air filter. They do last a long time, but when they clog up the cabin does tend to mist up. If you replace the filter make sure it goes in the right way round or else it tends to leak water in.
