Strange request, but does anyone have a close-up of their throttle cable bracket? I need to fabricate one, as I don't seem to be able to source one, and its different than the standard Rover part.

Unless anyone happens to have a spare for any reason!?!?

Which end do you want a picture of...throttle pedal or plenum chamber?

Sorry,

Plenum end, they are different than a Land/Range Rover, the throttle cable pulls from the other side, I'm sure they will be a standard part, and not TVR bespoke, but can I find which model - can I heck!

Hope these pics. are what you want. They are of a Griff (sorry) but I would guess the same as your car.

Should have three return springs but one has been removed

Perfect thanks. I just need to work out what Rover variant it is from. If all else fails I'll be making a shiny stainless one!

Thanks again

Yes, it's an ACT smoothbore. As far as can see it only fits one way, it does appear to bulge in the photo where it fits the plenum but it fits snugly at both ends. You've got me worried now! I'm off to take another look......................

OK, I've just measured the old hose and it's 80mm I.D at one end and 72mm ID at the other so I don't think that it would fit the other way around.

Thanks for the concern and I will have good look at it tomorrow.

Another Bump just to see if anyone has one, or what variant they might be fitted to?

In real terms if it fits snugly at each end will it make any difference ? I think mine had a bit of a bulge in it like this when I fitted it scratchchin

Mine has arrived from ACT this morning and it does look big, and therefore will bulge.

Depends on how fussy you get I suppose, but the idea of going "smoothbore" may not be so attractive if the pipe being oversize leaves a valley on the I.D. where it meets the plenum for air to get caught up.

hmm ..if that was an issue you'd think it would be made with a step in the moulding on the inside ??
