Volvo V50 v's VW Golf estate

I'm going to have to get a new company car in the new year and have thought about either a V50 drive in SE or SE Lux spec or a VW Golf estate bluemotion tech.

I just wanted ask the wide world of PH what it's thoughts are?

The car would be on a 2 year lease doing approx 25k a year.

Anybody got any other ideas? It needs to be comfortable and convenient to use, Bluetooth, hands free, etc. Low co2. The golf is 109 and the Volvo is 99!
