I saw them, but at 70 pounds I think they are a bit pricey. Going to find the company that used to do covers for fords and see how much they are from him, remember paying no more than £20 several years ago for ford items.anyone else found alternatives to the reverie items!!!!!!!!

Now that is classy. Real carbon fibre glued over the top of Metro door handles. Yum.

ATT not alot off other choices as total carbon was £500 per handle custom made and I had just spent £15,000 on a seqential 6spd box.But looks quality against metro man handles could have colour coded but still metroman

It's not the fact they're from a metro, it's the pointlessness of it. Colour coded would look fine, no need to add weight. I think I'll paint mine although portofino might be hard to match!

Oh I know, and I did spend a fair while trying not to make that post come across as argumentative but I've always been of the opinion that carbon fibre should always be used properly rather than aesthetically. I don't doubt it looks good, and it's only a few grammes but in my opinion it's pointless.

I am well aware the spoiler is pretty much the same thing though.

Carbon Fibre is a wonderful material, I love things that are made from it, even toilets! Just don't like it stuck over something else or when something is covered to try to imitate it.

I apologise if I came across poorly. Each to their own and I know it's expensive to get things like that made properly.

paint is also pointless and also just adds weight so I guess you don't paint anything to make it look nice?... hang on, arnt your planning to paint your door handles?

cant see anything more pointless than a carbon fibre toilet seat... would look good though biggrin

Yes, definitely the same thing adding 0.2g of paint to a door handle as glueing a piece of carbon fibre over the top to make people think you've got carbon fibre door handles. whistle

At least the toilet seat would be made from it rather than pretending to be made from it.

Sequential gearbox sounds awesome, has it improved things (guess you won't know til you drive it!)? £15,000 seems a lot to spend, mind.
