Yea he's a real petrolhead so no worries, not sure yet what I'll replace it with maybe something old skool German, mk2 golf perhaps.

Love the ST. My wife has a black 5dr. The idea of a 2.5L turbo 5cyl family hatch was always quite appealing... then I drive it! Sounds brilliant and pulls so well from low revs.

Very nice. They're quite rare in red aswell, aren't they? I think I've only seen a couple in that colour.

I doubt he'll get much bother. A good amount of cars around Northern Ireland have those 'Metro' plates.. I can't stand them, but the police don't seem to worry too much.

It is a shame about the plates tbh. The car already has a reputation for attracting twunts and to put plates like that on makes it a bit more deserving of the rep. In reality they are a practical quick and nice handling car. Ruined.

Call yourselves car lovers, seen a lot of people on here slagging off a persons car all because of a No. plate, a piece of plastic! Seriously guys...! It doesn't affect how the car drives or reflect on the person driving so keep your poxy opinions to yourself.

Yep black headlights on mine, I see you've painted the fog light surrounds and grills black, I was thinking of doing this but still not sure of the look of the rear fog light surrounds when black on a red car...



And yeah I totally agree with you it's only a piece of plastic with slightly different font, what is wrong with some people

Well it certainly does convey a certain view of the driver, which some may call 'chavvy'. They're also illegal, and at least in England and Wales are a good way to get your car pulled quickly and get you a VDRS notice or a ticket. But if having one of these silly, Max Power style numberplates is more important to you than your car being properly road legal then go ahead...
