What plans do you have for the year ahead?

For me,

Car: Evo 9 or Z4M

Holiday: I fancy a trip down the german avenues route - anyone heard of it? I just saw it in a book of the best journeys in the world. I think it'd be better on a bike tho, so I might have to get a license!

House: New kitchen and a pizza oven outside!

Car - fabia vrs (that's the plan)

Holiday/Honeymoon - Disneyland Paris

House - full bedroom re fit, and a few bits altering in the livingroom.

The car however is subject to me finding a job, so I will probably be sticking with my Lupo.

Car - luxobarge maybe a 530d msport.

Holidays - India at start of Feb for 2 weeks, maybe a week or so in Europe later, then Canada or Iceland if funds allow.

House - Halfway through renovating my cellar. Not sure if it will be a gym or a home cinema. Think gym would be used more and save moneey in the long term on membership.
Also want a new bathroom and some gardening work is needed.

House - Get my conservatory built so I can get a dog for some company.

Holiday - I don't do holidays as I won't take my top off in the sun, haven't been away for the last 5 years due to that.

Car - maybe a RR Sport as a daily hack, once the novelty of going to Lidl in the gallardo wears off biggrin

Holiday - probably visit the gf's mum in Czech rep... I will be trying to gt out of this though. Maybe a week in Italy or something. I live in the algarve so it feels like a holiday all year round anyway.

House - might finally be the year I buy somewhere to live personally, not sure if buying in Portugal is a great idea right now though.ive been watching estate agents prices and some have been massively reduced but I need it to fall further I think...

Then go somewhere where you don't need to take your top off, i.e. not a beach place. Loads of great stuff out there to enjoy fully clothed.

Car - None as in HK we don't have the roads/parking etc. frown

Holidays - Harbin (north China, big ice festival), Japan, Singapore, Bali or Philippines, Road trip round LA/Vegas/San Fran in something like a cobra or old barge with big fins driving

House - Carry on renting as we're only 2 months into a 2 year lease. Might try to buy something tiny to rent out though.

My brother does the Vegas thing every year (UFC) and always does a small road trip for a couple of days. Last year the had a Viper, the videos/short films of them playing silly buggers were hilarious!

So much depends on how the business goes, but (subject to operating to profile):

House: re-decorate the lounge and finish the mortgage off, try and get a deposit on a local ruin I've got my eye on to convert to a house over about 5 years
Holiday: maybe a week in st Ives just before the school holidays. 2013 is my big holiday year: I'm aiming for a two-stop at ulusaba (south africa) and Mauritius / seychelles in feb 2013.
