York refuse collections

Evening all, I know this is a long shot but as the glorious City of York Council decided no refuse was being collected last week and we haven't been left with a calendar, we now have a bin bursting at the seams and no idea when the collections for 2012 are!

Our usual day is a Monday (tmw obviously complicated by being a BH), do any York residents have any clues?

Glad to see it's not just me that was left without the leaflet then...
I tried to look it up online, but it says 'call us.' They are of course closed for new year.

You're in the same boat as me Tom - mythical leaflet absent and the council spending more on cycle related nonsense than refuse or the website!

I'll pm you if I find out.

Our normal day today, Settle district, put bin out as I know that if I had not done so they would definitely have come today.

Courtesy of a fellow office PH'er - Green & Black this week, Black next week (9th Jan), green the week after (16th Jan).
