been having a problem with my focus central locking, only does it every now and then but when you press lock on the fob it locks and then unlocks straight away, if you put the key in the door and lock it then it works fine... any ideas? didnt know if it was a sticking lock that wasnt latching in properly?

Try resetting the central locking. Can't remember the process but its in the manual or google it. Talk Ford forums a useful source of info.

Had this on a focus years ago, might be the same cause. Mine was due to dirt in the door locking mechanism/motors within the doors themselves. I took each one out, striped it and cleaned it and threw in plenty of WD40.

Before I did this it got so bad it started throwing the central locking fuse as the motors were giving up. After cleaning it was right as rain and fine when I sold it two years later
