TVRCC Herts, Beds & Middlesex: F&C Run to Aldeburgh
Discussion
Hi folks
As enough people have expressed an interest in doing a F&C run this year, I'll start a thread to capture some names.
I would aim to run this event in either of the last weekends of March - the 18th or the 25th.
We would probably leave from Baldock (usual place) at something like 1015-1030 and aim to hit
Aldeburgh at about 1225 or so.
Once there we would grab some fish'n'chips, throw some people into the sea, have a wander around and then
aim to leave at about 1500-1530, stopping off somewhere on the way back for a break.
People can of course join us on route if they want - I'll publish a route plan with some possible meeting up
points - assuming enough people are interested.
The Fish and Chip Shop
226 High Street
Aldeburgh
Suffolk
IP15 5DB
http://www.aldeburghfishandchips.co.uk/restaurants...
So, if the above sounds like a good waste of a (possibly) chilly Sunday, then put your name down below and also
which date - if any - you would prefer.
Thanks!

Hi folks
As everyone is easy for a date on this, I'm setting it up for the 18th March as it gives an interesting alternative to the usual TVRCC meet we have that day.
I'll put together a route plan in the next few weeks and send it out.
If you haven't put your name down yet and are interested in coming, just let me know!
Thanks!

Hi folks
I have distributed the run-in route for this event via email to everyone.
If you need a copy and have not received it, then please email me and I will send it to you directly.
The weather should - hopefully - be quite nice, but we'll have to see nearer the time.
I have us starting out at about 10am and getting to Aldeburgh at about 12am, but we
will probably arrive slightly earlier depending on how busy the traffic is.
I have also attached the route to our website here...
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/tvrcchertsbeds...
See run-in route 22.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Hoover, I never try to publish route details or start times on public forums in case *cough* or other drivers want to get in on the act. However, people are free to email me and request the route details - that includes any typical TVR driver who can't make up their minds until the last minute - as we all know

Hi Alex
I've put mine and Dawn's name down with Cambs so will be coming with them. There's a good country road route I've suggested which cuts out going around Ipswich.
See you there!
Cliff
Cliff would that be like the one you tried to take us on when we went from Baldock to Duxford last yearI've put mine and Dawn's name down with Cambs so will be coming with them. There's a good country road route I've suggested which cuts out going around Ipswich.

Hi folks
Please note - I've made a slight clarification to the route we will be taking on Sunday.
I've either emailed everyone the new update or you can see the changes at the bottom of the thread
http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.as...
It is nothing major, but clarification on where we are parking in Aldeburgh.
Cheers!

headlights now flash with the main beam on, makes going to the Ace a safer journey now when convoying up
so yeah... lets have some fun
