997 Carrera S

Well I still can't believe I've done this, but I went out and bought myself a Carrera S the other day. I was killing time on Christmas day browsing Auto Trader online and this popped up only 8 miles from home. Luckily I was away in London at the time so couldn't view it. And when I got home, I managed to hold off for a whole day before giving in. I viewed it and bought it on the spot. It's absolutely amazing, and something I've always promised myself. The spec is pretty good too... nav, sports chrono, stainless sports exhaust, PASM, short-shift, xenons, heated black leather, 19's, sunroof. I am quite literally chuffed to bits with it! And don't collect it till Saturday, which is killing me.

Very, very subtle; I like it a lot. Sticking my neck out I reckon that's the prettiest and best proportioned of all the 997s.

Cheers guys! I've just always wanted one - this one came along and the spec was perfect, and even more so in the flesh! As soon as they fired it up and I heard the sports exhaust, I knew I just had to have it.

It's kinda weird but, as much as I've always loved Ferrari's and Lambos since I was a kid, the 911 has always been my real-world goal, and now I've got one. Roll on 2012!
