A couple of months ago I was having palpatations in my chest, went to the doctor and had a blood test and ECG, all was fine. I am under the doctors advise wearing a 24 hour ECG machine in February just to make sure everything is fine. They only lasted a week or so. I also advised the doctor that I had a strange feeling in my right pec, it is hard to explain really. There was no pain and no difference to the way it felt, and it was only really noticeable when wearing a shirt etc, when I lift the fabric away the feeling goes. The Doctor didn't seem too concerned and didn't say a alot about it. It is still there. This week the feeling has appeared in my right pec too. I call them pecs, I'm about 18 lbs overweight, aiming to shift that soon though. I will call the doctor this week, but anyone else had this or have any ideas what it can be? I have been told by a couple of people it could be anxiety, although I'm not really worried about anything. Thanks.

Could it be gynecomastia? Soreness and odd feelings are widely reported in the condition.

Please don't look too much into my ideas though, my medical knowledge is about as deep as a puddle.

Hmm, well I have no other symptoms of that, it's just weird that 95% of the time the feeling is only there when I have a shirt on. I must add that I don't feel it all the time either with or without clothes, it's intermittent.

Off the wall thought.. Is it something in the washing powder? Try changing that and rewashing your shirts?!

Could be, but then we don't always have the same one.

If I understand you correctly, you are feeling a right tit?

The internet is a dangerous place for obtaining misdiagnoses and convincing yourself that you have life threatening conditions.

Muscular and skeletal strains can cause all manner of funny twinges.

Get your medical advice from your GP, a cardiologist or the NHS direct website.

Hope everything checks out.

Still getting this, it twinges a bit up and down the left hand side of my chest now and again and occasionally I get the same on the right side. Off to the docs I go next week (again)
