Classic Le-Mans 2012 -- TVRCC members exclusive offers.
Discussion
We can now reveal the two exclusive TVRCC member only offers for this years Le-Mans Classic on the weekend of 6th, 7th & 8th July
An exclusive TVR only 30 minute track session on the Friday evening (subject to us filling all 200 slots)
A prestigious parking area on the Bugatti circuit for up to 200 TVRs.
TVRCC parking and display area
Those of you who attended the Le Mans Classic in 2010 will have seen the TVR area organised by the French TVRCC. This had capacity for approximately 35 cars and won the inter club competition thanks to their Swordfish inspired Tuscan.
Every year all clubs ask for more space without success. We are therefore delighted to announce that for 2012 the TVRCC has been working with Ian Longden of Fast Track Tours and Ian has been able to secure a much larger area with space for 200 cars in the Clubs Enclosure. This gives us one of the largest single make areas out of the 8000 cars on display at the event. We will have a prime site on the Bugatti circuit opposite one of the entrances to the circuit and after each race the competing cars will drive past us on their way back to the pits and paddocks.
This area is only available to TVRCC members in TVRs. These passes are free of charge but until 31st January can only be ordered when purchasing at least one general admission ticket and one pass for the exclusive TVRCC track session. Members in cars other than TVRs will need to purchase an Exterior Parking ticket, unless they already have parking within an on circuit campsite.
The image below shows the approximate area of the parking that has been allocated outlined in red.

Track laps
The second and biggest coup for the TVRCC is that for 2012 Ian has arranged an exclusive 30 minute track session for us:
• A maximum of 200 TVRs will have the opportunity to take to the track at the same time (do not worry, the lap at Le Mans is 8.5 miles long and those of you who saw the Ferraris and Ford GTs enjoying a similar session in 2010 will remember there was plenty of space for each car!)
• The session will be on Friday evening during a break in the practice and qualifying sessions with the exact time to be confirmed.
• Rather than being limited to 2 laps as in the Saturday morning sessions we will have 30 minutes to do as many laps as we want to
• The cost of this to TVRCC members will be less than the track laps on Saturday morning, which as in 2010 will only be 2 laps, and we will be paying a fraction of the price some other clubs are being charged for a similar session.
The cars doing the laps will be escorted by marshals from the TVR parking area in the Clubs Enclosure. Therefore for a limited time the parking passes will initially be offered to those wishing to take part in the track session. Once demand for the track session has been satisfied any remaining parking passes will be made generally available.
Members wishing to book their entrance tickets through the TVRCC will have the first opportunity to purchase a lap pass. Those of you buying your entrance tickets elsewhere will then have a chance to purchase a lap pass without having to entrance tickets.

If you're interested you need to be quick as places are sure to popular and are available on a strictly 'first come first served' basis and we have some pretty tight deadlines to sell the places by so for full details of costs and availability if you're already a TVRCC member then head over to the TVRCC website for details and pricing. If you're not already a member then maybe now would be a good time to join?
