Just wondered who's stuck with one badge throughout their own car history. PH has a great reputation for everyone having a variety of cars over their lives but has anyone on here, for example, only stuck with one like Volkswagen and, even better, only a Golf?

I've split mine between VWs, Toyotas and a few other Japanese ones so own up if you're a one badge man smile

No. Didnt you pay attention in Maths to the bit where teacher explained 50% wasn't 100%?

I've had five cars, all of different brands, so far. Not intentionally - brand just isn't a consideration when I buy a car.

Nope.

I've gone back to cars and had a few of the same make/marque but I don't think I could ever stick to one brand of car... For starters I can't think of any TVR I can use for the B&Q (Other DIY stores are available!) so I have no choice !!

Yep, BMWs, two e34 520s, a 320, then a 325, and now an E36 M3 and a E39 540.

Nope, 4 Peugeots, 3 Renaults, 2 Fords and a BMW.

And that's in descending order of reliability, given age, price paid, etc.

Started in Peugeot's before going into multiple BMW's. That was only because insurance on an e30 316i was silly compared to a Pug 106 1.6 XSi!

5 Fords. That's it. Sorry. getmecoat

I keep buying them, they last forever and never seem to cost me very much. Other than fuel in the ST.

For #2 I was specifically after a Ford. The others were just the way it worked out. I'm after a RWD 2 seater next so I think it's unlikely the next one will be, but then I thought that last time too...

I did for my first 3 cars: '92 Vauxhall Corsa Flair; '06 Vectra; '57 Corsa VXR.

Then got the Scirocco...and am picking up an RCZ at the weekend... so have since gone quite awry.

I was "brand loyal" until they started manufacturing cars as repmobiles!

1: Alfasud ti. (first car back in '92)
2: Alfa 155 v6 re-vamp model
3: Alfa Spider twinspark
4: Alfa 164 24v cloverleaf
Then came their first of many repmobiles the 156! I thought it had no character,
was totally soulless and no fun to drive compared to their previous models.
In disgust and as a protest came car number 5.
5: Mitsubishi l200 animal (now the wifes car as it's still so much fun when off-road
or in bad weather)
6: Vauxhall VXR8 (all the fun and character of the old Alfas but with sooo much more
powerrrr!)

Only had two cars. Both MGs. Hopefully a Toyota next.

Brother has no logical pattern to me, Nissan, pugeuot, seat, Honda, lotus.

Not going to be buying a British car for a while I think!
