So, doing the usual browse on Ebay of cars between £3k and £5k, petrol and this came up - is this very wrong or very right? You would never get a real one for that and looks very convincing to me! I love it! But would you feel a bit embarrassed every time someone came up to you?

"Wow mate! Nice motor! Don't see many of them these days!"
wince "It's not a real one! Sorry!"
"err....."

I'd be happy with that motor although I'd like it in a different colour

924S is a good car, as a replica it would have made more sense to use a 924 turbo as a basis though. It's a shame they didn't finish the restoration (i.e. rear seats not recovered, and some interior lets it down. I'd say it would make a fun car, but at half the money they are asking, it has no particular value as a replica, so should be going for a pretty standard 924S price.

£1,990, perhaps. Its a lash-up thats been touted at this silly price for ages. You can buy a 944 Turbo for the asking price.

I have no issues with cars made to look like better models.

But I think it's massively overpriced and personally I'd want the GO rather than all SHOW.

I bought a 300bhp 944 Turbo under £6k.

Not a bad car - great colour but it's nowhere near finished! To warrant that price it would really need to be a good finish and I think you'd feel let down with the power.
