Hah! Was due to make a drive to Aberdeen and then a flight today... forget that! Been fixing fences and righting wheelie bins this morning. Even a tree down on my road in Edinburgh. Every time I've been outside there's endless sirens going off in the background. Hope there's no injuries!

Only rain up here in Inverness at the moment. Not a breath of wind.
Take care down there.

3 of my neighbours have fences down, doesn't look like there are any tiles down (yet) but its still pretty wild outside just now (10am)

On the coast in Fife- house getting pummelled and huge chunks of spindrift racing down the Forth from the bridges. Wouldn’t want to be out there certainly. Where we are, this is worse than Hurricane BawBag on the RTR scale [roof tiles rattling].

Was curious if Edinburgh Airport was open as I would normally be going down to London on Tuesdays, but changed it to Thursday this week. Had a wee peek on FlightRadar http://www.flightradar24.com/ (hours of pointless fun) and the KLM AMS to EDI and GLA are both going round in circles over South Shields (click on the wee plane and you see the path), and the EZY to EDI has just done a big circle near Penrith then headed out over the North Sea. Judging by the winds here though I’d be inclined just to turn around and go home.

Editied - fun of watching planes over - looks like they're all going in to Newcastle.

Nice idea to look at that.

Seems two planes that were heading from London to Glasgow & Edinburgh got very close to final and then returned to London...

Lost two chimney pots so far, collected by wifes car, minor panel damage. A few slates and theres a length of roof apex thing in the garden. Could actually be worse, got a lot of old stuff on the roof thats still there...........so far! A few more chinney pots and they are big heavy bds, could be fun if they come down.

A couple of slates off the roof and a tree down but seems to be calming down a bit now. At least I haven't got to drive to work today!

We lost a ridge tile during bawbag which fell onto conservatory and left 2 nice dents in the roof.

Got it fixed, lost another 2 this morning and my daughter;s trampoline (which was anchored using a kit) is seemingly on final approach at Edinburgh airport...I live in Penicuik biggrin

Had to drive around 4 different trees to get to work this morning, big one down on queensferry Road just next to my office.

Still, looking at some of the pics on BBC news, we got off lightly.
