Mots around Surrey Heath area

Anyone have knowledge of a decent garage to get it done? In the above area. I've used a couple in the past and thought them a bit....well dodgy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Expensive though! Don't let them fix anything for you without looking at it for yourself first or you might get ripped off. I suppose that applies for all garages though.

I've most recently used these guys at Camberley http://www.camberleymot.co.uk/ who I think had been recommended by another local.

In the past I have also used this outfit http://www.motest.co.uk/ but not since 2007/2008. They are a turn up and wait place and I used to drive from Knaphill to here via Red Road to ensure my engine and exhaust were hot! They used to change minor things like bulbs on the fly but most friendly testers would do this anyway.

I've been using them for 12 years. Most of the people that I work with also use them.

They have never phoned me with extra work that I wasn't expecting.

Anyone know what happened to Cobbs Motors in Ash Vale - near the station and Jaguar Racing Green?

Always used to use them for drop-in MOTs but found their phone number was disconnected when I tried them a couple of months ago, and a family member has been past recently and told me they look to have shut up shop.

Another vote from me for these guys. Between myself and my Dad we have had 4 different cars MOT'd here over the past year or so after I saw them recommended here.

As someone else said, haven't had a bill for anything I wasn't expecting.

+1 from me to add to the endorsement from the others.

I've been using them ever since I worked at a company on Doman Road nearly 10 years ago and they were in the shed next door. They've since moved across the road and have always been straight and like the others have said never tried it on.
