The latest thoughts on tyres?

Since owning my V8S, I've had the minor-legendary Bridgestone S02s, S03s and Toyo T1-Rs. The rears need replacing soon and I haven't been that impressed with the Toyos, which immediately felt far less planted when they were fitted and haven't really improved in my estimation.

So are there any tyres available in 205/55/15 that the esteemed S collective recommend?

I have previously recommended Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres, and stand by that recommendation...

grip (especially in the wet at speed) is excellent
wear is acceptable
price is high but probably not high on a price per mile basis
availability is good
