Hi all, my only New Years resolution this year is to spend as much time on track and as such will be hoping to stretch the legs on the new LS motor for the first time at this event! I was looking at the attendee list and noticed that so far i'm the only Tiv? hope thats not the case! for as much as i love stuffing high end sports car's shoot, and there will be lots there its always good to see a few more TVR's out on track. It's an incredible circuit that will test you and the car to the limit with acres of run off as opposed to some of our tighter UK tracks like Cadwell Park. There are some great local roads and hotels so plan to leave on the Sunday night and make it a bit of a trip. All of the details are on the Circuit days website but contact me if you would like a pit space as i still have room. If you cannot make April there are the 2 days in October which i hope to be at as well. Happy New Yearbeer

Great news i was hoping you guys would be coming! Circuit days have agreed to give us a small discount as long as there is a minimum of three cars all you have to do is mention TVR when booking. hopefully i can get some of the other LS cars to come, like you say should be fun down the kemmel straight. My friend chris is still talking about his ride in the Cerb lol

Thats the best bit its 108db, most uk days 98 to 105!
Last October i forgot the silencers for the 350 and spent the night before stressing, turn up for noise testing no cats, blue flame exhaust and the tester did not even bat an eyelid!

Nope, check the site, it's 105db, there are also drive by sensors positioned on track which are 98db I think. Was there in October and they apparently now have an average noise limit to stay within for the year which is monitored strictly.

I'll be there on this day in the titanium noble m400, see you guys there.

It looks like a nice car, low mileage and has been in a hot climate so the chassis will be in very good condition. It has the essential fuel pump mod and a roush map so will be good performance wise. However I always like to test a car and there's the unknown element of not viewing first. so I'd get an agreement in place that if it's not as described when shipped here that he takes it back.

Prob an idea to drive one here first, once driven you will buy one, I can take passengers for laps at spa/ring on the 1st/2nd april.

Ok thanks for the advice, the car would be for a friend who will be at Spa with me, so a passenger ride would be great, i could return the favour in my LS griff although i'll be bedding the car in so don't expect any fireworks!Look forward to meeting you all.

Sounds great, always liked the griffs. Had a T350 before the noble and thinking about getting another Tvr as the noble is more track than road car now. I'll also be bedding in my new gt28rs turbos, the full fat 600+ hopefully. See you there!

extra fuel pump, fuel baffle or something else?

The fuel pump should be upgraded to the Bosche 044 and then the wiring harness is changed to give the pump a direct feed from the battery with a larger gauge wire (the standard wire to the pump is not adequate to supply the voltage needed and can cause the engine to run lean)

OK cheers, the only reason I ask is the Sagaris has fuel pick up problems when pushed on track in right handers, only 1 fuel pump in tank confused when the Tam/T350 has 2.

The nobles pumps are fitted externally and are just gravity fed, can't let them drop below 1/4 tank because of fuel surge.

Because I've gone for bigger turbos Ive now got baffle foam in the tank and 2 x Bosche 044 pumps with individual feeds.

Sounds like you might need to baffle the tank or fit a swirl pot and an external pump also?
