Looking to replace 2 up and over garage doors, standard size . The current hole fillers are 15 years old , any experience of good quality replacements on the market, medium price range.

Thanks.

Electric roller doors are great. Fitted well they are far better than up and over doors. Give greater internal height and don't suffer from those shoddy springs that just rot away.

Very happy with our double one we have fitted.

Agree with the above or Hormann sectional insulated which I have. These or rollers give the benefit of being able to be opened when parked close against them as they travel vertically. The Hormann ones can be panelled and glazed also which looks nice if on show at the front of your property.

I agree! I have the same on my house (new build). Hormann do a big range of doors. Sectional is best (much better than tilt) and insulated doors are much nicer in winter. Another advantage of sectional and roller doors is that you get the full width - the hinges on tilt doors can be quite intrusive if width is limited. A neighbour has new electric tilt doors and couldn't open them in today's high winds.

Electric roller doors rock.
They are also awesome with remote control!
