Cadwell Park - 26th May

Saw the race yesterday at Cadwell. I don't think I've ever seen worse conditions in a race (perhaps Le Mans last year!). I hope the cars affected by the first lap coming together weren't too badly damaged.

It was just unreal on the track there were 2 points that you just couldnt see anything. from 2/3 on the way down the straight untill the run up to charile 1 and half way down park straight to past park corner..

as you went past the pits you got wheel spin, and i hit the standing water ( that i couldnt see) before coppice the car did a 540 spin at about 100mph as it hit the water, it just span on its axis unreal.

it was almost as bad at park just as you came up the dip there was a river and the car would get out of shape, also you couldnt see the marker boards or the turn in point, i almost went straight on once..

not really the weekend to try a new engine with loads more power than the old knackered one i blew up at pembrey...

Im not sure about carolann's car but the car that hit her needs a new front end, and has both chassis and suspension damage. It will be touch and go for Oulton next month. The boys at MOORE Racing have their work cut out with 5 cars to fix...

I know Steve has had to buy a donor car to fix his front end.
I damaged chassis, 2 wheels,tyres,spoiler,trailing arm and shocks,front and back bodywork,bumpers,lights,window, lots of other bits and myself. Lets hope that's the biggest Taz bang for a long time!

and the bang Carolann talks about was only just surpassed in Pembrey testing.....
