Hi guys i'm looking at putting a front splitter on the Griff for track use due to my newly found top end capabilities, i have seen the SC power option and have spoke to Reverie about a bespoke removable carbon job, but just wanted to see if any of you have had a go?
I would like it to be as discreet as possible and not look like i've just attached an ironing board to the front of the car.Pictures would be great!!!!

Hi,

I went for a simple aluminum splitter from ACT:

http://www.actproducts.co.uk/shop/sp007-front-spli...

I thought about using 'sacrificial' plastic, brass or 1/2 cut through stainless bolts so that they broke free before splitter removed fiberglass that held it into place, but in the end I just bolted it on and I take it easy over speed bumps, a few hundred mile later all ok!

Although I have not really driven the car in a manner to tell if the splitter is helping with handling I can confirm that the car now runs much, much cooler when on the move!

Your LS3 6.2 looks awesome, well done, who did you work with to get this sorted!?

Kind regards,

Steve

P.S. When I say 'in the end I just bolted it on', I had a little help...

Thanks for the offer Perry, not sure i'm the best person in the world to be cutting things up that will then be attached to the front of a 175+ motor, but thats a racer view i suppose.:] I'll come back to you on that.
Hope all is well with you and look forward to seeing you out at a track day soon.

A500 TVR now you sir are just showing off, and may i add what a beauty you have there, nice number plate as well!!:]
