Making a claim on one policy, when you have two cars

If you have insurance with CompanyA for CarA and CompanyB for CarB, when making a claim on CarA, should you also notify CompanyB?

As I only started CompanyB policy recently and when they asked, I said I hadn't made any claims in the last 5 years which is true. However now I am about to try and make a claim with CompanyA...

I believe you are supposed to, as it is relevant to how much they rip you off charge you.

You don't have to notify company B until renewal of the company B policy. Then tell them you made a claim on another policy.
