Quotes in Titles

Wonder if someone can help. I'm seeing a few threads recently with quote marks in them and other characters e.g @. When I click on the thread to read it, I can't open it as I get the message

Sorry the address entered is not valid.

What I don't understand is that other people can clearly read the thread as they are posting on it. For example there is one this morning in News and Politics about one of the US Republican candidates claiming the NHS devestated Britain.

Workaround is to delete the "&nmt=" and everything after it in the address bar. They are working on it, and have been for a while.

One for the suggestion box: don't allow characters that break it in titles when the post is submitted.

there is an issue with the single quote marks in titles, I've edited this one to remove them.

If you get the address invalid screen, just click the little folder next to the title rather than the title link you shouldn't get the problem. Also report the thread so a mod can change the title to remove the single quotes
