Golf Bluemotion - heater problems
Discussion
I bought a Golf Bluemotion 1.6TDi (107g/Km) a couple of months ago and have now covered about 3500 miles. Although reasonably good at 57.4mpg it does not live up to the marketing blurb. However, my biggest disappontment is the time it takes to warm the interior. The heater simply takes a very long time to heat up and I do not have heated seats. It can take about 10 miles!
Has anybody any experience of this? Is it 'normal' in a Bluemotion? (or maybe all VWs are like this?) I am thinking of returning it to the dealer, as I can't see the point of having an economical car where the driver freezes to death. I would say that it is 'not fit for purpose'.
