I hope this flamesuit works...

That is the manufacturer TVR should have been.

shame they don't seem to hold value well in the first couple of years

They are certainly the prices TVR was aiming for near the end.

Having seen the quality up close at the ring a few times I must say they're worth the cash.

I'm a fan of the idea behind them but you can't help but think they're hideous to look at.

The problem being that TVR never really had the quality/engineering to back those prices up. by all accounts Wiesmann do.

Maybe you can't. Personally I think they look great.

Fixed that for you as the looks are subjective, so you might not like them but I do.

Guilty here too!

I re-watched it at lunchtime today and couldn't believe that they did that whole fawning test without once mentioning the ridiculous styling. I don't care how well-built it is, people are quite rightly just going to laugh at you sitting in one of those.

It's like a grotesque genetically-modified offspring of a C type or XK Jag with TVR headlights, welded to the back of an MGA or big Healey. Only a German could come up with something as ugly as that and think he's done a good job. There have been so many beautiful sports cars over the years and that's the best they can come up with? That's not car design: that's a p!$$-take.

The interiors of these are rather nice:

I've never liked the lights on these, they look like something a kit car manufacturer would use.

The interiors are lovely, the exteriors however, are not.

For the money I would go to Morgan. Look better on the outside and the inside.

Strange - to me they look like a pretty production car that makes TVRs of old look like kit cars in comparison styling wise.

Can we adopt them as British?!

They are a little bit of bling extra cheese, but not terrible for it. Quality is there, by the numbers they have poke, just not sure how they drive. I think the perfect term to describe their looks is "macho camp".
