Does it really work or is it a placebo?

Well, I tried something similar thinking, "What a joke... but I've got nowt to lose except my time so I might as well try it." Rolling my eyes the whole time. But... it worked surprisingly well. (Is it a placebo if you go in thinking it's a load of bks?)

I had it done awhile ago due to a bad back and worked a treat! Only about 9 needles but felt alot better! Not sure if it's placebo but you can definitely feel them in there!

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Does it work? Yes in my experience, my sports physio uses it to release tight muscles when I'm in periods of hard training.
Is it the placebo effect? I don't know or care.

My mother in law had it done for a repetative strain injury on her wrist (lucky FIL wink ) and it worked really well for her. I think she had a fiew sessions and hasn't had any isses for years.

I don't know what scientific evidense there is to back it up but I'd say ot was probably a few levels above the chrystal healing, homeopathy stuff.

Can't hurt to try, well not much
