Whistle noise... Need help

Hi,

I'm not sure where i should post this thread but here goes,

I've got a 2002 Hyundai Coupe 2.0L SE, the problem is when I'm accelerating up to about 2000 revs I can hear a whistle noise and as soon as I get to around 2000 ish the noise goes,

I don't get the noise ticking over or if i rev to around that mark stood still,

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I'm guessing pressurised air.



Just a joke. It could be loads of things, from a turbocharger (unlikely), a vacuum leak which gets drowned out by the noise of the engine, a fan with a viscous coupling, or dozens of other things.
