I came across an Aldi today so popped in looking to pick up some more trickle chargers (no such luck) but I did find this item, now reduced to £49.99

I already have one (a Draper which I thought was a bargain at £99+VAT) so can't report on what this one is like but I'm sure if you're at all practical you can think of times when having one of these would have saved you a lot of time and hassle.

I like shopping in Lidl's actually, some of the food is very good quality and it saves money for things like fixing the spoiler on my 996t that has just gone tits up

Aldi and Lidl often have some really hand tools in, and some of the quality is second to none IMO.

^^^ Mine too. It doesn't have the reading I'm used to on it though. I have to nip into the house whenever I'm working on something and convert it on the net. silly

We sometimes shop at Aldi/Lidl (I forget which one it is). It's funny spotting the blatantly ripped off brands like these :-

Utterly Butterly = Beautifully Buttery.
Rice Crispy Squares = Crispy Rice Oblongs.

Well, it keeps me and the stepdaughter amused while my lass does the shopping. She now wants a job in Aldis marketing department. biggrin

I bought one of these cameras last year from Aldi. It really is an excellent piece of kit. I was amazed at the clarity of colour image at the price. I haven't used it on a car yet but a handy thing to have in the tool chest just in case.

I didn't realise it was colour! Wish I'd bought it now, unlikely to be passing that way soon and they only had 2 left (so I'm not saying which branch either now, sorry).
