SWMBO would like to go out for dinner and have a nice steak but where locally is good for steaks?

Not really local but if u ever go to London- Hawksmoor in spitalfields is just amazing plus they do a very boozy sloe gin and tonic! Well nice!

Rossini in Wokingham. It's an Italian restaurant really but they do really great steaks. The food there is lovely anyway and the staff are very friendly. We were in there last week and John Madejski was in there

The reason it's so good (and it really is) is that the meat is supplied by the butcher next door .... who ironically also owns Vanilla

Ah, just like Sweeny Todds in Reading, as they are owned by the specialist butchers just round the corner from them.
