I'm looking at getting braided brake hoses for the M5, and I know a few on here have done this. For those that did, did you use Goodridge hoses (part no. SBW0044-4P)?

The reason I ask is that about half the eBay listings for these say they fit the E39 including the M5, the rest say excluding.

If anyone could advise on this, or of course suggest alternatives, it would be appreciated!

Cheers

I bought the HEL performance brake line kit a year ago (still not fitted it yet !) for my E39 M5. The part number on the top of the packaging says BMW-4-476CLR.
Kit was recommended by people on the M5Board.

Braided hoses was the the first mod I did when I purchased my M5. It made quite a bit of difference to brake feel.

I had goodridge on mine, just normal e39 ones. Just removed them having fitted stoptechs all round.
