Gold Protect Warranty - Any Good?

Just in the process of buying a used Ford and this seems like a decent option for a 56 car - if the list of exceptions isn't huge.
It seems to include wear and tear items, up to 80k miles - which seems pretty good to me.
Does anyone have any experience of these, positive or otherwise?
