irregular heartbeat

since a massive drinking session a week ago chest has felt funny and when i lie down feels like its missing a beat and just not quite right - its not tight though.

checked pulse last night and every 9th beat it seems to skip one

time for docs? is it urgent?

Could just be harmless palpitations but it's always best to get a docs opinion.

Are you secretly in late pregnancy? as I suffer from this (often every 5/6 beat skipped) and it is a quite unnerving.

Mine is safe, but doubting you are 9 months gone then listen to the others and pop to your doctors and hopefully you will get the all clear.

My ex had a similar problem. In her case it was found to be a thyroid problem!

I get the occasional jab, and my heartbeat can suddenly go really fast if I stand up quickly. I'm wearing a 24 hr heart monitor in early Feb as the doc thinks I'm ok as blood tests and normal ecg came back fine, but just to make sure. I get the occasional ache in my chest but never in the middle, it's always to the side of my moobs or under them. I'm carrying on as normal though tbh, gym tomorrow!
