E46 vs E90

has anyone owned / driven both of these models?

i used to own an e46 and it was a lovely commuter. it was comfortable, effortlessly fast, quick, quiet, no rattles at all and it felt and looked a solidly built car.

is the e90 more of the same??

I had an e46 touring and now an e91, IMHO the e46 is the better drivers car even with normal tyres fitted to the e91 the ride is not as compliant and the handling not as sharp. The nav on the e46 was light years ahead of the current one. Having said that the e91 is a great car, not sure what I'd replace it with other than the new 3 series.
