Before I get torn a new one, I've looked on the search and most people appear to be recommending local hire rather than those that operate on a national level.

I've done a Goog search already but thought I'd ask to see if anybody has had any positive experiences in the Warwick/Leamington Spa area? On my PH search I found a few "I rented a vehicle and now I'm getting bummed for fake claims against me", and didn't fancy making myself one of those threads.

My last option is to go to Europcar (Enterprise won't give me a van as I'm only 22), however they seem to charge double prices on Friday and weekends (despite the Coventry branch hours claiming Friday office hours will not incur extra charges).

Thanks

When I got a hire car last week from an unnamed hirer of Cars in Europe (cough), it looked like it'd been in a demolition derby. I didn't leave the compound until it had all been chalked up on my hiring notes and I'd done a walk round filming video on my phone. Drove OK though.

Didn't have any problems returning it and wasn't charged any extra.

Top tip, because I've been caught before- look in the load bay and check the spare wheel is still there when you look at it. I didn't realise there was a massive black tar stain in the boot of one hire car until I'd got it home to put my luggage in.
