Favourite engine sound?

After reading djdestiny's thread I'm still trying to come to terms with his words regarding the V8. But anyway, lets have some links on here for what sound makes you tick. Feel free to hurl abuse at me if there's already plenty of posts on here like this but I did search

I'm with you on the first two especially the blown Merc V8 but would have to substitute the V10 for the old 5cyl quattro turbo
