Stratstone Experience?

Thinking about booking with them this year. The package blurb isn't that detailed but their events co-ordinator provided lots of info over the phone.

FYI, for 2011 I organised the trip Friday-Monday for son and I and our total spend was about £1200 for the two of us. This covered:
Eurotunnel
Hotel Friday and Sunday nights (some distance from the circuit, but vaguely on route)
GE and tribune tickets
Parking at the circuit
ACO annual membership
All tolls
All food & drinks
Other cash costs etc
Travel insurance.
It excludes fuel.
Had we used MRI, the cost would have been around £1400 and this does not include tolls, drinks, food, cash, travel insurance.

I have been with Stratstone on this trip a couple of times, originally following purchase of an Aston from them. It is well organised, civilised camping with reliable shuttle transport to and fro. The on site hospitality team are always helpful.
Downside? Increasingly full of pendragon sales staff who have won their tickets through an incentive and drink their way through the free bar.
For me and 6 other former guests the time has come to do things differently equally civilised and certainly no more expensively.
For a first time LM visit it may tick the box as I said the on site team, mainly pendragon graduates and the marketing team are first class.
Downside? Increasingly full of pendragon sales staff who have won their tickets through an incentive and drink their way through the free bar.

For comparison, we don't do "corporate" and this year (12) are paying about £350 a head for eight of us in three cars including ferry crossing, Houx (2 nights) and entry with grandstand opposite the pit lane. On top will be fuel, beer, cheese and ham baguettes, etc.
All in, will be around £600 including gas, beverages, sarnies and a nice hotel on the way back. Route is Berkshire-Portsmouth-Caen-LM and back. Stuttgart's finest does mid to high 20s mpg.

No experience with stratstone, in fact not seem this package before. But looking at the pictures it appears a well organised event and potentially good fun heading down as a big organised group. Nice collection of cars.
Suppose it is a fairly costly way of doing it, but there are things included which would add to the costs like that first night gala dinner. But any package is going to be a bit inflated.
Wonder if that car valeting is all complimentary?

I was being a bit nosey and spoke to chap on the ferry last year about it.
He seemed to think the price was worth it, things he liked:
-Pre-pitched tent that you could keep or they would donate to charity
-Tents in very nice location in grounds of a house/hall/mansion
-Nice food and drinks
-Transport to and from circuit whenever you liked
-Car valeted and stickered(optional) before the trip
-Car valet once at Le Mans
He seemed to think the price was worth it, things he liked:
