having owned a Cerb for five months,i must say its one of the most reliable cars I have owned,by the way that is after 7k miles. The only prob was a loose door latch.Off down the med(france/spain)from Dover in four weeks not even thought about braking down.Anybody else out there problem free!
Ok.
Just coming up to 14k and no real probs other than windscreen washer pipe melted on exhaust, boot light switch snapped and window rubber caught and torn. Hardly anything to shout about eh?
Engine wise it has started everytime faultlessly.
Oh and I have worn out a set of rears, but I can't really blame PW for that

Had mine just over a year now and no snags whatsoever. Apart from the slave & master cylinders going within 2 hours of buying it, oh and then a radiator hose rubbing on the engine mounts and leaking, oh and then the aircon giving up the ghost, oh and then the clutch itself going, oh and then the alternator bearings seizing, oh and then both doors playing up and locking me out, oh and then the battery going flat, oh and then the suspension needing replacing, oh and then the handbrake slackening right off, oh and then a headlight bulb going. Not to mention the bloke who owned it before me who had 3 rads replaced (yes 3) oh and the fact he had to have the engine rebuilt just before I bought it etc, etc. I must stop I am boring myself!
Sorry folks, I had to edit this to add one thing. Despite all of the above I LOVE IT and would not be without it!

I've only had mine for a couple of months, but I'm driving it every day and covering about 400-500 miles a week, and I've had no reliability issues at all. I can't get over it yet, though - I've finally got a cerbie!
One or two niggles (see www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=110665&f=6&h=0 to see if you can help), but they're just silly snags, not performance/drive/reliability problems.
It seems that its reputation is wrong! I love it!

On my second Cerbera.
The first early 4.2 had no major problems in seven months after it had been set
up correctly.
Used every day, school runs, business meetings etc and covered an average
of 1200 miles a month.
Upgraded the car to a newer 4.5 and again had no major issues in the six
months I've had her.
Used less due to a relocation, but she's been to Le Mans and many TVR meetings
during that time.
Averages out at about 830 miles a month.
Very very happy with my ownership and can't imagine ever not having a Cerbera.
Go create some weather...
